Chupu Charters - General Information, Rates & Availability

Chupu Charters offers full day and half day sportfishing adventures. We are also available for custom whale watching and multi-day fishing trips to outer islands. On all of our fishing charters we will provide all bait, tackle, ice and fish packaging supplies. All charters are crewed by a United States Coast Guard licensed captain and a professional deckhand.
WHAT TO BRING
	food and beverages for the day (but PLEASE leave your bananas at home as they are considered BAD LUCK!!)
	sunglasses, hat and sunscreen (Hawaii sun is intense)
	light windbreaker (layering is best!)
	camera or video equipment
	Motion sickness medication should be taken the night before and once again the morining of your trip. Please consult your doctor or pharmacist for recommendations.

TIPPING The income of our crew is comprised mainly of the sale of fish and your appreciation of their hard work. A 15-20% gratuity is customary and greatly appreciated.

FISH POLICY Our goal is to let everyone on board experience the thrill of fighting and landing as many fish as possible, and to take home a share of the catch. Our policy is that 50 pounds of whole fish will be divided equally among our guests. We will happily fillet and package your share for you at the end of the day.

RATES
	FULL DAY CHARTER (8-10 hours) - $650.00 This is an exclusive charter for your group of 1-6 people. Kama'aina / Military rates available for Full Day Charters. Discounts also available on full day charters for smaller groups. Contact us for details.
	HALF DAY CHARTER (4-6 hours) - $505.00 This is an exclusive charter for your group of 1-6 people. Half day charters are exclusive only - no share rates available.

BOOKING INFORMATION Give us a call at (808) 637-3474, or send an email with your inquiry and contact information. Secure your reservation with a Visa or Mastercard. YOUR CARD WILL NOT BE CHARGED UNTIL THE DAY OF YOUR CHARTER , UNLESS a cancellation occurs less than 7 days from the time of departure (see cancellation policy below). Payment is made at the boat prior to departure. We also accept cash and traveler's checks. Call and let us know where we can reach you on the island when you arrive, we may have to contact you in the event that we have to reschedule due to weather or mechanical problems.

CANCELLATION POLICY Any cancellation received less than 7 days from the date of the scheduled trip will be charged the full amount of the charter. There is no charge for rescheduling an exclusive charter provided that the day requested is available. Chupu Charters, Inc. reserves the right to cancel or postpone a charter due to mechanical problems or poor weather. No charge will be incurred by our guests should these circumstances arise. In any event, we will do our best to accommodate you and get you out on the water!
