FIRST STEPS: USES OF THE PROGRAM

This simple and useful program is worth to record in Dvds. What we will be able to record? We will be able to record as much music, as data, or even video. We opened the program. I imagine that you know to do it, of that I dont put drawing. We will see this (and if you do not see it, be sure to click in the correct superior eyelash: the one of the small house…)

In the box, the two options that we will use more frequently: “to create audio CD of” and “creating Disc of data”. We will see these two options in depth right now. It´s possible to also arrive at them surfing by the superior eyelashes (in the following image, the box of red color).

It arrives, to left the screen to record CDs of music, and to the right the one to record data.

TO RECORD MUSIC

We selected the music eyelash and we chose “CD of audio for…” (the first option), or we directly selected it from the first screen of the program. We will see the following thing:

Perfect, above we clicked in (1) “Looking for”, and we click “To examine”. It appears to us the screen of the right (in the superior image), and we surfing there (2) until finding the folder of wished music.

We selected the songs that we want and automatically it places them in the right part of the program, lists to be recorded in the disc. We are adding having well-taken care of not happening to us of the capacity of the disc (in CD 74 or 80 minutes of music fit, even 90 in the new ones, to see the capacity of the virgin disc - it puts it in the title page).

When we have the prepared list, we give the red button “To record”. We waited to the process finishes that will begin then, will out the ready disc and.

TO RECORD DATA

It´s very simply to record data with RecordNow! We selected the eyelash of data and we chose “Disc of data” (the first option), or we directly selected it from the first screen of the program. We will see the following thing:

It arrives (1) we give name to the disc, soon we click in (2) “Adding archives and folders”. A selection screen is opened. We chose the data to add to the disc and click “To add”. In our example a musical video. It could be a film in format .avi, .mpeg, documents of Word, archives of music .mp3, which we want…

We are adding the archives that we want until the all capacity of the disc. Later click the red button “To record”. The program will begin to record the archives in the disc. Only we have left to wait to that it´s out the disc with our recorded data.

Important note: If later we want to add more data to the disc (to put more videos or songs in the future) we will have to notice it to it to the program before recording. We will choose it in the options of the program. It looks for a grey key in the superior part (between the interrogation and the little folder) and opens the options of RecordNow! In the eyelash of data, it marks the option “I want to use discs for more than a recording”. Easy, isnt it?

Important note 2: Complementing the Dvd Shrink tutorial and the Dvd Decrypter tutorial, it´s possible to burn Dvds using RecordNow! instead Nero.

Open RecordNow! in "Disc of data" mode, and look for the Shrink files destiny folder. You´ll see Audio_TS and Video_TS subfolders there (see image below). Grab them into RecordNow! and click "To record".
