Objective: to download and to install codecs of Divx

LOOKING FOR THE CODEC
From the official page of Divx (www.divx.com),
we click in the superior menu in the marked Link as “Download Divx”

In the page of downloadings (see image below) we looked for Free Download.
Click it
DOWNLOAD THE FREE VERSION
We download the .exe file one. See below.
In the first screen (1) we selected the button “Save”.
In second (2) it asks to us where we want it to save. We left what it selects
to us by defect, but we paid attention. In the case of example, the desktop
It appears the third screen (3). Wait. Depending on your connection it
will take more or less…
EXECUTE THE FILE
In the first screen of the image of down (in 1) we chose “To execute”.
In the second (2) as well, (only usuary with Windows Service Pack 2).
We chose the language of the installation in (3): we chose English, in this
case. The films will be heard in the language that correspond, not in this.
INSTALLATION OF DIVX CODEC
Look the image below. In the first screen (in 1), to click “Next”.
Second (2), to accept the license and to select “Next”.
Third screen (3), to choose those components to install. We need the Divx
Codec solely, click “Next”. In the following screen it
lets select the folder in which it will install it: leave the
one appears by defect and “Accept”
Note: If you want to prove them… we know player, that is for visualizing.
Converter is for creating films.
DIVX CODEC
It requests a mail to be up-to-date of the last developments in the program.
It´s optional. To click in “Next”.
We already have codecs installed.
Now we will be able to see the films that require this codec.
It is very probable that your problem has been solved and you see the films
perfectly.
Note: Anyway, if what you want for again is to make copy of a film without
losing quality nor having these problems, it uses tutorial
of Dvd Shrink. (That yes, will only enter a film by Dvd; or you know that
the good thing of the Divx is to put several films in a Dvd, or one in a CD).
